Camp TAI is sort of an outdated concept, but it's still a cute idea. Basically, if you are are fan of The Academy Is...you are apart of "Camp TAI." TAI themselves used to refer to the fans as "Camp TAI". You don't have to pay a membership fee, it's free (although they do have a paid fanclub too, but we'll get to that later).

This concept originated on The Academy Is...Livejournal Community, which is basically just a bunch of fans that gather and talk about the band. You don't even have to join that to consider yourself a member of Camp TAI.

There is a website called CampTAI.net that sells/sold shirts and is dedicated to the idea.

Santi's Little Helpers is TAI's paid fanclub. The members get a membership package (a t-shirt, stickers, buttons, membership card, etc), access to presale tickets, meet & greets, an exclusive message board, contests, TAI news, media, and much more.
